The Brand Development Council (BDC) presents the "BDC 20th Anniversary Special Honorary Award" to recognize individuals and organizations who actively engage in brand development and enthusiastically support the work of BDC. This award also expresses gratitude for the special contributions made by the awardees.
Awardees of 'BDC 20th Anniversary Special Honorary Award' will receive a medal. Upon approval from the organizer, awardees are entitled to use the exclusive 'BDC 20th Anniversary Special Honorary Award' logo for promoting the overall image of their organization, personal brand, and related brands.
The Honorary Award may be bestowed upon individuals or organizations deemed suitable by the Selection Committee, including but not limited to those who have served on BDC's Board of Directors, held honorary titles, or participated in BDC affairs, sponsors or supporting organizations of BDC activities, BDC members, or recipients of various brand awards organized by BDC.
The Selection Committee (concurrently served by Hong Kong Top Brand Assessment Board) will focus on evaluating honorary award candidates' contributions in three aspects: the development of Hong Kong brands, the development of BDC affairs, and contributions to the national and Hong Kong economic and social development.
1. Candidates for the 'BDC 20th Anniversary Special Honorary Award' must be nominated by at least one current BDC director. The nominator must briefly state the reasons for nomination according to the selection criteria.
2. The Hong Kong Top Brand Assessment Committee will also serve as the Selection Committee and will hold a selection meeting in the fourth quarter of 2024 to determine the quota and list of honorary certificate recipients through deliberation.
3. Award recipients (individuals and organizations) must sign a consent form within a specified period after receiving the award notification. They must attend (individual) or delegate senior representatives (organization) to attend the relevant award ceremony in person. Participation is free of charge."
