Webinar on “Distance Business: Turning Adversity into Opportunity”

The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) and Hong Kong Brand Development Council (BDC) and the jointly organised the Webinar on “Distance Business: Turning Adversity into Opportunity” on 6 May 2020.

The Webinar started with a welcome remarks by Mr Johnny Yeung MH, Chairman of the CMA Innovation and Information Technology Committee; then Mr Alex Chan, General Manager of Digital Transformation Division of Hong Kong Productivity Council, introduced the funding scope and details of “D-Biz Programme” newly launched by the Government. In the second part of the Webinar, Mr Baniel Cheung, President of DTA and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Hong Kong, gave advice on the digitalisation strategies of SMEs and shared several cases studies of local companies that successfully implemented digital transformation during the pandemic. This webinar received overwhelming response and attracted around 180 participants.
