Jointly organized by the BDC and The CMA, the seminar titled Seminar on“AI Strategy and Practical Applications: New Opportunities for Business and Precision Innovation” was held on September 7.
The event featured Prof Jack Lau—Board Director & Former President of Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), Adjunct Professor & University Honorary Fellow, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Adjunct Professor & Director of AI Hub, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong—as the keynote speaker. Prof. Liu analyzed the transformative impact of AI on corporate management and competitive landscapes while demonstrating practical AI applications in market research, document processing, data analytics, product development, and process automation. He also guided businesses on leveraging AI alongside industry expertise to precisely target niche markets and capture emerging business opportunities.
Distinguished attendees included BDC Honorary Chairman & CMA President Dr. Wingco Lo, CMA Vice President Mr. Dennis Ng, BDC Chief Executive Officer Ms. Ida Ng, alongside nearly 100 enterprise representatives.
