The Hong Kong Brand Development Council (BDC), the Trade and Industry Department (TID) of HKSAR Government, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) and the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) joined hands in organising the “Branding to Win Seminar 2025: Hong Kong Brand.New Quality New Vision” on 10 November 2025 at the SME Center of the TDC.
Under the banner of “Hong Kong Brand.New Quality New Vision”, the seminar started with Dr Kenneth Kwong, Associate Director, Institute of Knowledge Exchange (IKE) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, who elaborated on how brands can transform the appeal of intellectual property (IP) into significant brand influence. Mr Chris Tam, Co-Founder of the Strategic Digital Marketing Company Limited, followed with insights on how AI is reshaping brand marketing strategies. Mr James Wu, Group Chairman of Seven Sea Chemicals (Holdings) Limited shared the success story of how "Sea Horse" became a household name. At Last, Prof Martin Zhu, Co-Founder and CEO of i2Cool Limited, presented on innovative green cooling technologies. Vice Chairman of the BDC Dr Ellis Wong moderated a Q&A session to bring the Seminar to a close.
Assistant Director-General of the TID (Industries Support) Mr Sunny Chan, Chairman of the BDC Mr Calvin Chan MH, Executive Vice President of the CMA Dr Ma Kai Yum BBS, and Associate Director of Merchandise Trade and Innovation of TDC Ms Priscilla Yeung presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers on behalf of the organisers. The Seminar attracted near 120 participants.
