On 4 December 2009, the CMA President-Designated Dr David Wong, CMA Vice-President Mr Joseph Lau, the BDC Chairman Ms Shirley Chan and the CEO of the BDC Mr Paul Leung received a delegation from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ). Led by the Vice-Minister of AQSIQ Mr Pu Changcheng, the 3-people delegation had an in-depth discussion with the hosts on the ways forward to enhance cooperation between Hong Kong and China in respect of brand development and commodity inspection.
