The BDC held a press conference on 15 July 2019 to announce the kick-off of 2019 ‘Hong Kong Top Brand Awards & Hong Kong Top Service Brand Awards” and “Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards & Hong Kong Emerging Service Brand Awards”. Apart from it, a brand new award called the “Hong Kong Distinguished Brand Leader Award” was introduced. The kick-off ceremony was officiated by BDC Chairman Mr Simon Wong; Vice Chairmen Dr Edward Chan, Mr Calvin Chan, Dr Aaron Shum, Dr Ellis Wong; Representative from Event Sponsor-cum-Official Honorary Auditor Mr James Wong, Partner of KPMG ; and Representative from Trophy Sponsor Mr Vincent Tse, Deputy Chairman and Deputy General Manager of Lukfook Group.
