Under the sponsorship of the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (Organisation Support Programme), the BDC implemented the "Assisting Hong Kong Brands to Explore Northeast China Market through Organising ‘Harbin Hong Kong Brand Festival’ Serial Activities” Project, with the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong acted as the Collaborating Organisation and the CMA Exhibition Services Limited acting as Implementation Agent.
A series of stage performances with focus on selected manufacturing or service industries were lined up next to the“Lovely‧Loving Hong Kong”Showcase Gallery, scattering over the six-day exhibition period(19 to 24 September 2014), 16 shows were put on, including catwalk shows to display participating brands of the Gallery; brewing of Hong Kong-style milk tea; and serial talks on wedding and health-related topics, in an attempt to demonstrate the diversity, viability and lifestyle-orientation of Hong Kong brands.
