In order to equip SMEs with practical knowledge related to branding and better understand the development of domestic market in the Mainland particularly Central China, a 7-hours training workshop was held on 26 March 2012. Dr. Sherriff Luk, Faculty of Management and Marketing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University elaborated on Central China Market and Chinese Consumers' Brand Buying Behavior; Mr. Kenrick Leung, Managing Director of Annovation Asia (HK) Limited illustrated how to crack the China Market by using market research; Mr. Yang Yong-tao, Promotion Director of Shenzhen Kingworld Medicine Co. Ltd. introduced the features of marketing channel in China; and Mr. Zhou Ying, Associate Editor-in Chief of Business Times explained how to build a strong brand through mass media. The workshop attracted around 50 SME representatives.
