The Hong Kong Brand Development Council (BDC), the Trade and Industry Department (TID) of HKSAR Government, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) and the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) joined hands in organising the “Branding to Win Seminar 2026”” on 28 August 2026 at the CMA Conference Hall.
Under the banner of “The Brands Hub for Going Global”, the seminar started with Prof Ma Xufei, Chairman of Department of Management, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, who decoded the “Go Global” branding strategies for Chinese and Hong Kong enterprises by video recording. Followed by Ms Rebecca Wong, Founder of Red Gimmick Global Solution Limited, outlined strategic planning for cross-border business expansion. Ms Kay Leung, Founder of Digitify Online Growth, revealed the formula for penetrating the ASEAN e-commerce market. Mr Lambert Xu, International Sales Director of Yuanhua Robotics, Perception & Ai Technologies (HK) Limited, shared the international journey of the medical equipment brand ‘Kunwu. Lastly, Mr Isaac Lau, Marketing Director of KK8 Limited, shared valuable insights into how “24/7 FITNESS” successfully established its global footprint. Elected Member of the BDC Mr Spande Chang moderated a Q&A session to bring the Seminar to a close.
Assistant Director-General of the TID (Industries Support) Mr Sunny Chan, President of the CMA Dr Wingco Lo, Chairman of the BDC Mr Calvin Chan MH, JP, and Associate Director of Wellness and Creative Industries of TDC Ms Maggie Cheung presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers on behalf of the organisers. The Seminar attracted near 100 participants.
