Branding to Win Seminar 2024: Unleashing the “New-Quality Branding Force”

The Hong Kong Brand Development Council (BDC), the Trade and Industry Department (TID) of HKSAR Government, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) and the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) joined hands in organising the ‘Branding to Win Seminar 2024: Unleashing the “New-Quality Branding Force”’ on 30 September 2024 at the SME Center of the TDC.

Under the banner of “Unleashing the ‘New-Quality Branding Force’ ”, the seminar started with Dr Sherriff Luk, Professor of Marketing of Emlyon Business School, who elaborated on ‘New-quality DNA’ for Hong Kong Brands. The second speaker, Ir Prof Lam Hiu Fung, Alan, JP, Chief Executive Officer of the Gravity Capital Partners Company Limited, explained on the key to Brand Experience in the Digital Era. Dr. Keith Chau, Senior Continuing Education Consultant, College of Professional and Continuing Education, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University shed light on the example of how to use ESG as an opportunity to promote brand. Ms Freda Ng, Managing Director of PARKnSHOP, illustrated the experiences of implementing concepts of “Chill Supermarket” in operations. At Last, Mr Hung-chung Li, General Manager of Shun Hing Industrial International Limited shared on how “HK Farmer Story” using technology to improve production efficiency and quality. Vice Chairman of the BDC Dr Ellis Wong moderated a Q&A session to bring the Seminar to a close.

Assistant Director-General of the TID (Industries Support) Mr Sunny Chan, Chairman of the BDC Mr Calvin Chan MH, Vice President of the CMA Mr Dennis Ng, Vice President of the CMAMr Jackson Leung and Associate Director of Merchandise Trade and Innovation of TDC Mr Kwanho Leung presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers on behalf of the organisers. The Seminar attracted near 100 participants.
