“GearXFiber” is a proprietary composite material developed in-house to enhance the overall performance of protective gear and defence equipment. Certified with international standards like “NIJ”, “GA”, “VPAM” and “STANAG”, it offers a rare combination of ultralight weight, structural strength and high flexibility. The material can be configured to meet different mission requirements and operating environments, and is widely applied in ballistic plates, protective vests and tactical equipment.
In February 2025, Founder and CEO Mr Jeffery Wu led GEAR Industries to debut at the “International Defence Exhibition & Conference” (IDEX 2025) in Abu Dhabi, where it was the only invited Hong Kong brand that specialised in tailored defence solutions. Its “HPS-4 Ballistic Plate” was selected as one of the Top 20 products on the “IDEX Innovation Trail”, which not only gave recognition for the Brand’s capabilities in R&D and quality but also underscored the remarkable potential of Hong Kong enterprises on the international stage.
