Sun Generation Limited started operating a chain of pizza shops in 1987 and established "Sun Lunch” to supply lunch boxes to local schools. In 2001, "Eat East" brand made debut together with its specialty stores, which specalises in chilled and frozen prepared foods, offering solutions for convenient meals and food reserves.
Eat East actively develops chilled and frozen prepared foods and other convenience foods, including the "KitKat Chocolate Toast" launched in collaboration with "KitKat" in 2022; and it also works hard to develop hot meals and packaging products for organisations and restaurants. At present, the Brand's sales network covers Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, and has been extended to convenience stores and supermarkets, in addition to some 20 specialty stores in MTR stations and shopping malls in the housing estates.
Eat East is committed to becoming a trustworthy brand. It has a self-owned factory responsible for product development and manufacturing, which has obtained "FSSC 22000" food safety management system certification. By dint of high quality, Eat East was conferred numerous honours, such as "2015 Famous Brand Hong Kong" , "2018 IFSA Food Safety Excellence Award" and "2021 Recommended Staple Food Processing Demonstration Enterprise in China" . In 2023, its flagship product "Rice with Dried Scallop and Chicken in Lotus Leaf" won the " Greater Bay Area Thematic Pavilion — Taste Star Award" at the "Asia Agricultural Products and Agricultural Technology Exhibition".
Enthusiastic about giving back to the society, the Company has established collaborative relations with many charity organisations. For instance, it supports Feeding Hong Kong and distributes lunch boxes every week.
