Company Profile

Established in 1996, Golden Water Limited is devoted to building and promoting local brands. It opened the first Ameyokocho shop in 2013 to supply on-trend snacks directly imported from Japan and Korea with favourable pricing. Ameyokocho has 23 retail tores throughout Hong Kong currently; and it is the largest chain tore in the territory that focuses on Japanese and Korean snacks.

Track of Glory

Drawing inspiration from the "Ameyoko" shopping street in Ueno Japan, Ameyokocho hopes that every customer could spend happily for quality snacks. With this "selling happiness" positioning, the Brand endeavours to soothe the daily stressful life of metropolitans, providing a "Spiritual Gas Station" for everyone.

Ameyokocho introduces over 600 new items into Hong Kong market every year; and 70% of its products are imported from Japan and Korea, with the rest from 15 other countries in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. To bring delightful and impressive shopping experience to customers, Japanese promoters are invited to station in Ameyokocho's stores and crossover activities have been staged in collaboration with a variety of industries and brands, so as to pool together strengths of different parties for expanding customer base and increasing brand exposure.

As an enthusiastic advocator for social responsibility, Ameyokocho actively participates in community activities. In addition to providing sponsorship for various charity events, it organised the "RUN IN" Marathon competition in 2016 and 2019 to raise funds for Yan Chai Hospital and made donation to Hong Kong Fujian Charitable Education Fund to support education development in the poor mountainous areas.
