Company Profile

Opal is a leading manufacturer and retailer of personal-care and beauty products with a history of more than 20 years. Following a dual-track development model, the Group provides one-stop OEM solutions covering product research and development, manufacturing, brand promotion and other related services, on the back of OBM (Original Brand Manufacturing) business. In addition to flagship brand "Opal", the Group also operates sub-brands like "O Last", "Opal Plus" and "Outlast", in an attempt to enhance its penetration into different market segments.

Track of Glory

Opal is committed to providing high-quality personal-care and beauty products to the public. Its "Moisturising Body Wash" and "One-Minute Hair Treatment" launched in the mid-1990s were among the best-sellers in Hong Kong market. Opal spares no effort to expand market coverage and its sales network has extended from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Macao to Canada, the US, Australia and Southeast Asian countries.

The Group is renowned for its strong capability in production and R&D. It has two production facilities in Huizhou, Guangdong Province with a total construction area of more than 10,000 square meters, which have been accredited with "ISO 9001", "ISO 14001", "ISO 22716 (E)" and "GMPC" (Good Manufacturing Practice of Cosmetics) and attained the level of "BRC" (Global Standard for Consumer Products). Up to November 2022, the Group established a reserve of over 20,000 formulae and had 98 registered patents, including 54 invention patents, 20 utility model patents and 24 design patents.
